This design takes a suburban home and gives it a New York loft aesthetic. The eclectic mix of ebay finds are updated with rich colored or bold print fabrics to give the space a Neo Hollywood Regency scheme that mixes glamor and sophistication that would be captured in a 30’s Movie. The walls are mirror the fabric selections, the room is long and narrow; to square up the space I painted the sides walls a rich chocolate and the walls at the ends a bold red. Dark colors visually recede and bright colors advance, thus visually making the room feel less like a hall.
