The clients are empty nesters transitioning from a large home back East to smaller town home in Louisville CO. Scale was incredibly important in the design.  The client wanted  a grand living room with wood beams and a fireplace that would make a statement.  The project began by adding wood trusses to the ceiling; choosing a simple design was important. The proportions in a smaller living room  are key so the feature wouldn't consume the space. The other focal point is the cast fireplace, this was a custom design that incorporated their flatscreen TV. The room widows are dressed in silk Roman Shades --Classic. The wall color is gold which warms the space is a great foil the traditional Arhaus furnishings.
